Projects

  • Headspace Visible – Western Sydney

As part of Headspace National’s Project Visible in Western Sydney, I worked with young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds to explore mental health through art and storytelling. The process involved co-designing creative works that reflected their lived experiences, in collaboration with local multicultural artists. These pieces formed a public exhibition and digital campaign, sparking conversation, reducing stigma, and encouraging more young people in multicultural communities to seek mental health support.

  • Christmas Island Youth Change Makers Summit

The Christmas Island Youth Change-Makers Summit brought together young people from across the Indian Ocean Territories to build their leadership, advocacy, and community engagement skills. Working closely with schools, community leaders, and youth advocates, I helped design and deliver a culturally safe program that reflected the island’s diversity. The summit inspired new youth-led initiatives and strengthened the capacity of young people to contribute to decision-making and community life.

  • Whisper No More - Cultural Safety in Cancer Care

Whisper No More is an online training program developed by the WA Centre for Rural Health to improve cancer care for First Nations peoples and culturally diverse patients. I contributed to the design and production of this interactive resource, which integrates cultural safety principles, patient perspectives, and practical guidance for healthcare providers in rural and regional Australia. The program has been adopted by multiple health organisations, helping to strengthen trust and communication between patients and practitioners.

  • Mindful Alliance – Mental Health Literacy for Multicultural Communities

Through the Mindful Alliance, a project I founded, I run workshops and dialogue sessions to improve mental health literacy in multicultural youth communities across Australia. These conversations often address the stigma surrounding mental health, with a focus on safe storytelling and lived experience. By working with diverse young people, the project has fostered cross-cultural understanding, empowered participants to share their stories, and informed the development of more inclusive mental health programs.

  • Our Metaverse: Young People and the Digital Future

I contributed to the development of Our Metaverse: Young People and the Digital Future, a world-first consultation project led by Project Rockit in partnership with Meta and youth organisations across Australia. My role focused on engaging young people from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, ensuring that their perspectives shaped the dialogue around safety, inclusion, and wellbeing in emerging digital spaces.

  • Embrace Multicultural

    Embrace Multicultural

Description gI worked with Embrace Multicultural Mental Health, a national initiative dedicated to improving mental health support for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. My role involved providing strategic advice on engagement and inclusion to ensure that resources and services were culturally safe and responsive.

I developed content tailored to multicultural audiences, reviewed policy and program materials, and offered recommendations that helped strengthen cultural safety across the initiative. By drawing on both my professional expertise and lived experience, I was able to support Embrace in creating resources that were not only evidence-based but also trusted and meaningful to the communities they were designed for.oes here

  • Project Communications and Engagement

I worked as a consultant in communications and stakeholder engagement on infrastructure and construction projects, where I supported organisations to strengthen relationships with communities, improve transparency, and embed social impact into project delivery. My role included coordinating strategic communications, facilitating community engagement, and advising on sustainability and ESG practices.

This work involved leading external and internal communications for construction and mining corporations, ensuring project goals and milestones were clearly communicated while addressing the social and environmental impacts on local communities. I also contributed to the development of Reconciliation Action Plans, helping organisations invest in First Nations partnerships and initiatives.

Alongside communications planning, I assessed the social impact of projects and advised on measures to address modern slavery and promote ethical labour standards. By combining clear, accessible communication with cultural awareness and policy insight, I helped clients in the construction sector build stronger community trust and deliver projects more responsibly.
